Rodin was one of the heroic figures in Art of the 19th Century and internationally celebrated during his lifetime. However, his reputation slipped after his death. His work is now being reassessed and David surveys his work showing why he is one of the greatest sculptors ever.
Lecturer: David Worthington
David was drawn to abstract sculpture when he came across Barbara Hepworth in a school history book aged 10. He graduated from Oxford University in 1984 with a degree in Philosophy and Theology and then went on to study Fine Art in London, Barcelona and New York. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Sculptors, David has exhibited in many Galleries and Museums in the U.K.
