Elizabeth I was the most remarkable woman in a remarkable age. With passing reference to literature and architecture Mark will focus mainly on the portraits, miniatures and music of Elizabeth’s Court and the confidence of this Golden Age.

Born on the Isles of Scilly, Mark was educated at Truro School in Cornwall and has an MA in Late Medieval Society and Culture. He joined the Arts Society in 2007 and is convinced of its importance and the values it upholds and is ‘proud to be a part of this unique organisation’.
